A tax bill signed by Missouri Governor Nixon, designed specifically for Lake of the Ozarks, went into law in June. HB103, sponsored by several Lake Area Legislators, makes it mandatory for owners who have a dock on lakes with more than 950 miles of shoreline to display their 911 street numbers on the dock in such a manner that emergency personnel can clearly view it from the water. The mandatory posting of the 911 addresses is scheduled to begin January 1, 2010. Any person who fails to post the address will be considered guilty of an infraction of state law and will be fined.
Missouri Water Patrol officers said they will work with dock owners who do not immediately post the numbers by issuing warning for first offenses.

MarineMax Missouri hosts three AquaPalooza events
AquaPalooza Lake of the Ozarks:
Please note that AquaPalooza has moved to Dog Days Bar & Grill
Located by water at the 19MM of the Osage, just west of the Grand Glaize Bridge,and by land off Hwy 54, on Jeffries Road in Osage Beach.
Date/Time: Saturday, July 18th. On water concert takes place from 12PM – 6PM. Stay later and enjoy more music at Dog Days on the patio and inside.
Where do I pick up my AquaPalooza t-shirts? If you registered online before June 18th, Sea Ray will send two souvenir t shirts per boat to our MarineMax dealership. Shirts can be picked up at MarineMax Lake Ozark (3070 Bagnell Dam Blvd.) beginning July 15th. Shirts must be picked up in person by noon the day of the event.
Is this a No Wake area? Yes. Reduce to idle speed before reaching the event area. Be courteous to all boaters and property owners. Water patrol will be in attendance and will issue tickets for violations.
Where can I launch my boat? Public Beach # 2, just off of Hwy. 54 in Osage Beach is the closest ramp. See www.funlake.com/marine/ramps.php for more information.
Where can I anchor? The stage will be on land facing the Grand Glaize Bridge. We recommend that each boat anchor itself even when tied up in a “rafting line” to ensure the safety of all boats. Water is deep in this area so be prepared to release more anchor line than normal.
Will I be able to access the shore? Yes. Dog Days will have slips available for a charge as well as a drop off dock for those people wanting to use their facilities. For slip information, please call Dog Days at

What if the weather is inclement? AquaPalooza will go on rain or shine. Heavy rain may delay the event.
What do I do if I need fire, police or ambulance? A first aid station will be available at Dog Days. For emergencies, dial 911.
Missouri Boating Laws? Water Patrol will have multiple officers at the event to ensure that all laws pertaining to navigation, safety and conduct are enforced in order to ensure safety, enjoyment and the family friendly environment that AquaPalooza represents.

Join us at the Alton Marina for a day of live entertainment and boating fun.
Date/ Time: Saturday, July 25th. 1PM – 6PM.
Ralph Butler Band gets the party started and will perform from 2PM – 6PM.
